Google Display works best when used with a clear goal for each target group. For webshops, retargeting often yields the quickest wins: visitors who viewed product pages or abandoned their shopping carts see your offer again with the right message. Not generic, but based on their behavior. Someone who viewed a category sees bestsellers and USPs; someone with cart abandonment receives a reminder with reassurance (fast delivery, free returns, reviews) or a clever trigger (bundle, popular variant in stock).
