emarkable is a dynamic full-service agency that fully unburdens entrepreneurs in the field of e-commerce. With a team of specialists in strategy, design & branding, development, and online marketing, we help webshops of various sizes – from small entrepreneurs to medium-sized companies – to truly grow online. We are growing fast and work with approximately 20 enthusiastic colleagues from our office in Dodewaard, centrally located between Tiel and Arnhem on the A15. For our team, we are looking for a Medior/Senior Technical SEO Specialist who not only has extensive experience with technical SEO but is also curious about innovation and AI, and who will elevate our SEO to a higher level with smart, innovative techniques.

Your role

As a Technical SEO Specialist, you are responsible for conducting technical SEO audits and implementing targeted improvements. You carefully prepare migrations and ensure smooth execution. Additionally, you conduct keyword research, design site structures, and develop SEO plans for existing and new websites. By effectively utilizing AI tools such as ChatGPT, you strengthen and optimize our SEO strategies. You manage a fixed client group and, in close collaboration with clients and colleagues, you determine the most effective approach and work towards measurable successes. You proactively follow the latest developments and techniques within SEO and apply them where possible. You also actively contribute to the further innovation and improvement of our services. Within the marketing team, you will work with five SEA specialists, one SEO specialist, two Social Ads specialists, and an email marketing specialist.

Who are you?

• Minimum of 3 years of experience with technical SEO.
• Experience with AI tools and an affinity for innovation within SEO.
• Proficient in tools like Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Semrush, Screaming Frog, and similar.
• Experience with GEO is a plus.
• You can clearly explain complex technical matters, even to clients without SEO knowledge.
• Proactive, independent, and results-oriented.
• Someone who is not afraid to take initiative and truly help the team move forward.
